PRV Audio’s 8MB700FT-NDY Forte Series is purpose-built for greater power handling and reduced distortion. Its larger voice coil offers excellent heat dissipation and the strong Bl force needed to maintain high sensitivity under high power with minimal distortion. 

The low Qts enables tighter, more accurate midbass response. Superior fidelity comes from the ideal combination of a non-pressed cone for smooth frequency output and a well-ventilated magnet motor designed for high displacement without added distortion.

To achieve superior fidelity, a special composite cone made from non-pressed paper is used to minimize break-up, resulting in a smooth frequency response and low moving mass, which improves speaker efficiency. 

This 8″ midbass is an excellent choice for pro audio setups or high SPL car audio systems where extremely high output is essential.

This midbass is built to endure years of demanding professional use! Its specially composed spider reduces distortion during high excursion, while the double roll surround keeps cone movement linear at peak output. 

The 8MB700FT-NDY is a highly efficient 8″ midbass, and with its wide frequency range and 98 dB sensitivity, it pairs perfectly with compression drivers in 3-way systems (recommended with a 95 Hz, 12 dB/octave high pass filter).

The large 2.5″ voice coil enables high 700-watt power handling and supports the advanced cooling system integrated into the motor. 

With 11 mm of winding depth, this inside/outside coil construction ensures exceptional thermal and mechanical durability.
