For high output speaker systems, PRV Audio’s 10MB800FT midbass is a powerful choice capable of outstanding performance. It’s a standout addition to the Forte Series, focused on delivering greater power handling and reduced distortion in the mid to low midbass range. 

The 10MB800FT is a durable 10″ midbass driver that blends strong midbass impact with vocal clarity at high SPL levels, offering low distortion and extended midbass response. Designed for use in compact enclosures, it delivers smooth vocals with strong output from 500 Hz to 1500 Hz and maintains useful response up to 6,500 Hz, making it ideal for larger 2-way and 3-way systems.

To achieve superior fidelity, a special composite cone made from non-pressed paper is used to minimize break-up, resulting in a smooth frequency response and low moving mass that boosts speaker efficiency.

With a high sensitivity rating of 99 dB 1W/1M, it’s capable of producing impressive output. This 10″ driver is an excellent midbass choice for professional audio systems or high SPL car audio setups where extremely high output is needed.

The voice coil is wound on a 2.5″ glass fiber former with aluminum wire, keeping weight low for exceptionally fast transient response. With 11 mm of winding depth, this inside/outside coil design ensures outstanding thermal and mechanical durability.

A popular pairing with the 10MB800FT is the WG2500Ti Titanium Compression Driver. Using our DSP 2.8x digital sound processor, the PRO Audio On Wheels systems can easily tune both components to blend in together with the following settings:

10MB800FT – High Pass Filter (HPF) at 95 Hz using a BT18 filter, Low Pass Filter (LPF) at 1800 Hz using a BT12 filter 

WG2500Ti Compression Driver – Covers from 1200 Hz to 17,000 Hz
