With a 100 dB sensitivity and weighing just 13.45 pounds, this 12″ midrange driver is ideal for high-output pro audio systems, musical instrument enclosures, and competitive car audio builds. Its advanced neodymium motor assembly delivers concentrated magnetic flux while enhancing thermal transfer and cooling, boosting power handling and minimizing power compression.

As part of the X Series, it’s engineered for extreme midrange clarity, smooth vocal response, and powerful, consistent performance at the highest levels.

Recommended HPF using PRV Digital Signal Processor DSP when using up to 2000 Watts RMS musical power ( without clipping )

  • 160 Hz at 12 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT12
  • 135 Hz at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT18

If you have compression drivers on your system the recommended LPF is 3,800 at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT18 but you may set it lower to blend in better depending on the other components in your system, or you may not use a LPF at low power to take advantage of its high frequency response.

**Continuous Program Power (RMS) is the maximum power that the speaker can handle considering a regular musical program using our recommended filters, this power can be used to define the optimum amplifier power to provide a clean signal without clipping or saturation.
***Max Peak Power is the maximum power operation for the speaker, this power is allowed just for a few fractions of a second, usually found just on the peaks of the music. Keeping this power for a little longer timer will damage the speaker.
