PS500 Switch Mode Power Supply

The PS500 is a high-efficiency Safety Class 2 switch mode power supply developed specifically for use with single or dual Nilai500 modules. Key highlights include strong efficiency across the full load range, the use of audiophile-grade components, and interleaved PFC for greater power density and reduced conducted EMI.

The PS500 also includes comprehensive overcurrent protection. If an overload condition continues for an extended period, the supply voltage gradually drops until the unit enters hiccup mode. Universal mains support allows dependable operation worldwide. Durable Molex® connectors create a secure link to the amplifier modules, while the user can manage on and off control through the I/O and HBUS connectors.

User-accessible 5V standby and a symmetrical auxiliary supply make it possible to connect third-party electronics, which makes the PS500 especially well suited for DIY applications.
