The 12HX500 delivers full-range performance by combining a 12" (300 mm) low-frequency driver section with a dedicated high-frequency section in a coaxial design. The LF section is rated for 400 W AES power handling with a sensitivity of 95 dB, offering 50 Hz to 4,000 Hz. The HF section adds 90 W AES capacity and 105 dB sensitivity to deliver articulate highs from 500 Hz up to 20,000 Hz. Both voice coils are robust; 3" (77 mm) for LF and 2.9" (74 mm) for HF to support thermal and mechanical demands. With a frequency span from 50 Hz through 20,000 Hz, this driver is well suited for simplified cabinet designs where full-band coverage is desired.
