This cone is not only visually striking, but also incredibly lightweight and rigid, offering excellent internal damping that suppresses unwanted resonances for a smooth, natural sound. 

Its dynamic performance is further enhanced by a rubber surround and a large flat spider that maintain linear cone motion with minimal mechanical resistance. This suspension design improves control at high excursions, allowing for cleaner transients and more responsive midrange performance in demanding applications.

This midrange driver uses a single-layer spider in its suspension system, directly linking the cone to the coil former with premium stitched lead wires for enhanced durability and consistent performance. The copper-clad aluminum wire voice coil offers a balance of light weight and conductivity, delivering high efficiency and strong power handling. It is surrounded by high-power neodymium radial slugs that concentrate magnetic flux around the coil, boosting responsiveness and overall output.
