To activate the new SwiftLock™ feature, simply place the speaker in the ceiling and press the blue buttons.

Instant Locking

The dog automatically rotates and clamps down, adjusting to the ceiling or wall thickness while locking securely in place for a stable installation.

Quick Release

If you ever need to remove the speaker, the process is quick and simple. Just press the SwiftLock dog inward and make a half-turn with a screwdriver to lock it back in place, ready to be reactivated with the push of a button.

The IC-830 is a larger version of Russound’s flagship in-ceiling speaker, the IC-630, designed to deliver detailed highs and powerful, full-bodied lows. Built with premium materials—including a 1" pivoting titanium tweeter and an 8" injection-molded polypropylene cone with vapor-deposited titanium—the IC-830 provides stunning performance that continues to impress over years of use. It features a ±3dB tweeter adjustment switch, allowing you to fine-tune the sound based on your room’s acoustics. In bright, reflective spaces with hard surfaces, set the switch to -3dB to soften the highs; in rooms with heavy furnishings, thick carpeting, or curtains, use the +3dB setting to enhance high-frequency detail. The patented SwiftLock® by Swarm system enables fast, tool-free installation with a simple press of a button on each of the three mounting dogs.
