The 6MR400CF-4  series was engineered for powersports, built with a water-resistant design to perform reliably in outdoor conditions. 

Perfect for enhancing audio systems on boats, UTVs, ATVs, or motorcycles, this midrange speaker sets a new benchmark for vocal clarity in rugged environments. Crafted with premium components such as a carbon fiber cone, high-temperature voice coil, and a robust magnet motor, it delivers natural sound with impressively low midbass distortion.

The 6MR400CF-4 achieves its precise response through a meticulously engineered carbon fiber cone, embodying PRV Audio's hallmark depth and vocal accuracy. 

This advanced cone is not only visually striking but also exceptionally lightweight and rigid, offering superior damping to minimize resonant peaks. The result is a highly natural and accurate sound, with vocal reproduction that maintains clarity and detail even at demanding output levels.

Recommended Amplifier configurations and crossover points: 

2 Speakers – 1x MDX1200.2 1 Ohm, Bridged both speakers in parallel 
4 Speakers – 1x MDX1800.1 1 Ohm, 4 speakers in parallel 

Recommended HPF using PRV Digital Signal Processor DSP when using up to 450 Watts RMS musical power 

  • 145 Hz at 12 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT12
  • 135 Hz at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT18 

If you have a super tweeter on your system the recommended LPF is 8,000 at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / LR18 but you may set it lower to blend in better depending on the other components in your system, or you may not use a LPF at low power to take advantage of its high frequency response.
