Product Features

  • The Standard-Z Cap is our entry level audiophile capacitor.
  • It is a single foil standard type MKP capacitor that uses the highest possible quality aluminum based metalized PP foil.
  • It uses the same foil as our Superior- and Silver Z-caps, but in this application as a single foil capacitor.
  • The Superior – and Silver Z-caps are double foil (“Super MKP”) constructions where two capacitors are essentially wound into to one housing.

  • A capacitor that offers great sound and performance within its class.
  • Fast reacting, smooth and detailed in sound, compared to other single foil PP capacitors.
  • Jantzen does not fill their capacitors with any dielectric fluid, which eliminates all risks of evaporation or leakage that can shorten longevity and quality of the capacitor.
