Each model is powered by a high-efficiency amplifier tuned for smooth response and reliable output rather than inflated wattage claims. The driver and amplifier work together to provide effortless low-end extension that feels both powerful and natural.

Sounds as Good as it Looks

As part of the larger Classic Collection of home audio speakers, these powered subwoofers offer a design that fits seamlessly into any décor, whether modern or traditional. They are available in black wood grain with a black grille or light wood grain with a gray grille to suit your style. Optional grilles are also available (sold separately) for a custom look. The Classic Collection subwoofers come with rubber feet installed with M6 threaded inserts but can be easily upgraded by swapping them for Dayton Audio speaker spikes (sold separately).

Simple Connections and Easy Operation

The Classic Collection subwoofers offer multiple connection options to suit any system, including an RCA input for a simple, no-nonsense connection from the RCA outputs of most amplifiers, an LFE input for seamless home theater integration with a surround sound receiver, and high-level speaker inputs for use with amplifiers that lack a dedicated subwoofer output. With the high-level inputs, you can easily run speaker wires from the amp to the subwoofer and then out to your speakers to accommodate any amplifier.


Auto-on functionality puts the subwoofer into standby when not in use and powers it on automatically when a signal is detected. The crossover knob and phase switch help blend seamlessly with your main speakers, while the volume control lets you fine-tune the bass so it’s just right for your room and your listening style.

Built to a Higher Standard

Every part of this subwoofer was conceived and designed in Dayton, Ohio. From the cabinet to the driver and amplifier, each component was carefully examined, tested, and refined until Dayton Audio's engineers achieved a design they could be proud of. The driver was engineered to reduce distortion while delivering maximum output. The cabinet is built using 18mm MDF throughout and features rigid internal bracing to better control low-frequency response and provide clean, accurate bass.
