DS18's GEN-X4 4" 2-way coaxial speaker pair combines a paper cone woofer and a large diameter Mylar tweeter for natural full-range response with low distortion. A naturally damped paper cone minimizes unwanted resonances to deliver smooth response throughout the midrange for realistic vocal reproduction. The durable rubber surround is securely stitched to cone to ensure a reliable bond even when exposed to the extreme automotive environment. High frequencies are handled by a 1-1/8" balanced drive Mylar tweeter that offers high efficiency, accuracy, and wide dispersion. With good efficiency and capable of handling up to 40 watts RMS the GEN-X4 will produce impressive output even when driven with modest power.
