The WF275BD01 features a Balanced Drive motor structure that promotes symmetrical magnetic force, significantly reducing even-order harmonic distortion for cleaner, more accurate output. A copper cap on the center pole lowers voice coil inductance and stabilizes its variation across the coil's movement, enhancing linearity and high-frequency performance. The cone is constructed from a new paper and glass fiber blend, offering improved consistency and structural stability. A rigid die-cast aluminum chassis with extensive venting helps reduce air flow speed and minimize turbulence-related distortion, while the vented voice coil former further reduces compression under demanding conditions. 

The voice coil is wound on a heavy-duty black fiberglass former to lower mechanical losses and improve both dynamic response and low-level detail. A large motor structure with a 39 mm voice coil diameter provides strong control and high power handling capability. To keep distortion low at elevated output levels, an aluminum field-stabilizing ring is built into the motor assembly. The suspension system features a low-loss, high-Qm design for enhanced detail and transient accuracy, supported by a durable Conex spider built for long-term reliability. Additional refinements include black-plated motor components for improved heat dissipation and gold-plated terminals that offer a corrosion-resistant, secure connection.
