The TW045WA series features a unique Dual-Piston design that pairs a 22 mm precision textile dome with a 45 mm cone—ceramic in the TW045WA01 and black anodized aluminum in the TW045WA02—delivering both extended high-frequency performance and enhanced low-frequency efficiency. The copper-clad center pole minimizes voice coil inductance, resulting in lower distortion and greater high-frequency output, while the optimized dome shape and underhung voice coil further contribute to linear, wideband response. A foam ring around the dome reduces front-side reflections, and the low-damping IIR surround maintains control without introducing unwanted coloration. The vented voice coil leads to a damped rear die-cast chamber for suppressed resonance, and the robust aluminum chassis integrates a heat sink for improved long-term power handling. Additional design elements include a dual-neodymium magnet structure for strong motor force, copper-clad aluminum coil wire for efficiency and transient clarity, and flexible lead wires to support large excursions and high power levels. Gold-plated terminals and a pre-applied foam gasket round out the package for reliable connectivity and simplified cabinet integration.
