The TW022WA09 features a precision textile dome that delivers extended frequency response with excellent consistency. Its 22 mm voice coil is engineered for high power handling and a low resonance frequency, while the copper foil-clad center pole keeps inductance low to reduce distortion and boost high-frequency output. A vented design leads into a damped rear chamber, further lowering resonance and minimizing distortion. The lightweight dome is optimized for ultra-high frequency cut-off and enhanced transient response, aided by a vented voice coil former that helps minimize compression. Additional enhancements include copper-clad aluminum voice coil wire for reduced moving mass, internal cavities to equalize pressure under the dome, and flexible lead wires for greater power handling and excursion. Gold-plated terminals resist oxidation for long-term reliability, and a pre-attached foam gasket simplifies mounting while improving the cabinet seal.
