Overview

SPDT Momentary Snap-Action Micro Switch with Long Metal M10 Shaft and Metal Push Button 20A 125V

Finally, a momentary push button switch with a 7/8" shaft to mount into thick panels. Projects with wood or thick plastic panels have to use recessed holes to mount switches. Recessed holes are not always easy to make. This long shafted micro switch solves this problem in most cases. Plus, the metal button and shaft hold up to the extra pressure thick panel projects go through.

Wire these switches up normally closed or normally open. SPDT momentary switches have options on/on, off/on or on/off. If you want the main device to be on, while a standby device is off, wire the incoming wire to the common connection on the bottom of the switch and the main device to the top terminal. Wire the standby device to the middle terminal and push the button for the standby device to be connected and it disconnects the main device. Let go of the button and the standby device disconnects and the main device is reconnected. The other option is to connect one device to the switch. It is always on, or always off until you push the button to momentarily disconnect or connect.
