Morel KT-1 1-1/8" Neodymium Soft Dome Tweeter 8 Ohm

Available exclusively from Parts Express, the economical Morel KT-1 1-1/8" soft dome compact tweeter is designed to deliver premium performance from the most compact designs. The lightweight 1-1/8" damped fabric dome nearly eliminates unwanted resonances to produce incredibly flat response from 2,000 to 20,000 Hz, even up to 30° off-axis. A powerful optimized neodymium motor precisely controls the voice coil and diaphragm for low distortion and incredible detail. With a large copper voice coil and aluminum former the KT-1 is capable of handling up to 80 watts RMS to produce more output than you would expect from a tweeter this small. At only 3" diameter the center to center distance between the tweeter and woofer/midrange can be kept at a minimum for a seamless transition at the crossover frequency. Whether used in a compact 2-way system or a high output 3-way design the KT-1 will provide all of the performance and natural sound you have come to expect from Morel.
