Overview
Some audio devices will overdrive an audio input whether by design or by accident. Mixing consoles in theaters are often designed to output a 3 volt signal that can overdrive the 1 volt input of a studio mixing console. An attenuator or pad will reduce the overall signal level while maintaining the input and output impedance. Simple inline connection allows the attenuators to be ganged together to reach the desired attenuation level. 3-pin XLR-M to 3-pin XLR-F. Attenuation: 20 dB.
