The 8HX150 efficiently covers both bass and high-frequency ranges in a single compact driver, thanks to its coaxial configuration. The low-frequency section handles up to 250 W AES with a sensitivity of 94 dB, while the high-frequency section delivers 15 W AES with a sensitivity of 104 dB for detailed upper frequencies. Both voice coils are built for durability and thermal performance, using aluminum windings on appropriate formers (fiberglass for LF and Kapton for HF). Its dual-driver bandwidth spans from 75 Hz up to 18,000 Hz, giving it wide-band capability for professional applications. With a shallow 4.40″ (111.7 mm) depth and a nominal 8″ (200 mm) format it is well suited for installation in compact enclosures. Its 90° dispersion pattern makes it a practical option for wide-coverage systems.
