Well suited to both bass and mid-bass applications, the CF1025BMB is especially effective as a bass unit in compact subwoofer designs. It features a 2.5” (64 mm) multi-layer voice coil delivering 300W (AES) power handling and 92.5 dB sensitivity, with a frequency range of 45 Hz to 5000 Hz. Its elastomer surround supports a longer Xmax than a conventional 10” mid-bass speaker, enabling stronger low-frequency reproduction. This makes the CF1025BMB an excellent fit for discreet, compact subwoofer applications, while its smooth performance up to 2 kHz also makes it a strong choice for 2-way systems with impressive low-end capability.

Along with its extended low frequency performance, the driver includes Celestion’s smart airflow vented magnet assembly for improved heat dissipation and reduced power compression, as well as an optimized T-pole magnet assembly designed to enhance Bl symmetry for lower distortion.

Developed at Celestion’s headquarters in Ipswich, England, this loudspeaker was engineered using in-house FEA (Finite Element Analysis) modelling tools, allowing the design team to rapidly achieve measurable performance improvements that contribute to longer product life and exceptionally low distortion.
