High Consistency

LEX design frames made from exclusive die-cast aluminum are optimized with advanced Finite Element Method software to deliver a unique appearance and reinforced mechanical performance. Their specialized airflow system enhances cooling by directing air exchange between the air gap and the exterior.

Solid

The innovative design allows the tweeter to be mechanically attached to the cabinet. A rigid die-cast aluminum back chamber is directly reinforced by the cast aluminum front plate, securing the entire structure into a unified assembly.

Low Distortion

The magnet system is precisely optimized using the latest FEA software to maximize performance from the ceramic magnet. A T-shaped pole piece with a copper cap delivers highly symmetrical force factor values, minimizing harmonic distortion and reducing inductance. The vented pole piece, flared at the top, enhances magnetic saturation in the steel while avoiding resonances through the use of damping material. Back radiation is absorbed using three carefully chosen damping materials placed behind the dome.

Controlled Directivity

The waveguide is optimized for excellent off-axis response, delivering outstanding performance that supports system designers in achieving strong spinorama measurements.

Accuracy

The T25M uses a precisely engineered aluminum-magnesium alloy reinforced dome to improve frequency response linearity. The membrane operates pistonically well beyond the audible range, pushing break-up to around 38kHz, which reduces listening fatigue and delivers clear, accurate sound throughout its standard operating range.

Overengineered Surround

The wide surround permits greater excursion and is crafted from a specially formulated polymer film. Its shape is optimized using finite element analysis software to maintain symmetric compliance beyond the typical operating range of a standard tweeter, while also delivering exceptional on- and off-axis performance.

Lightweight

The T25S features a lightweight pre-coated silk membrane, producing a high-sensitivity tweeter with excellent frequency response linearity. Combined with a copper-clad aluminum wire voice coil, the design maintains a low moving mass, achieving nearly 92dB sensitivity across its operating frequency range.
