Overview

Benchtop DC Power Supply 0-30V 0-5A with Lock-in Function

Most 0 to 30 VDC 5A power supplies have a large footprint that takes up valuable space on your workbench. The HY3005B's body measures 3-1/4" W x 9-1/2" D x 6" H thanks to the dual reading single LED digital display with large 1/2" numbers that go down to 10 mV and 1 mA. The multifunction coding potentiometer aids in the HY3005B's size by eliminating two extra knobs. Push-in to toggle between coarse and fine adjustments. Push-in and hold both knobs in for three seconds to lock and unlock settings. These coding potentiometers are built to last and their detent design have a click sensation which eliminates the lag or floating you get with normal potentiometers.

Another unique feature is the voltage output switch on the front panel. Most power supplies are turned on, the voltage and current set, and turned back off before you hook-up your device to prevent shock or short-circuits. With the HY3005B you turn it on, set your voltage and current, hook-up your device, and press the output button on the front panel to power your device. Turn the voltage output off by pressing the button again.
