B&C DCX50-8 2" Neodymium Coaxial Compression Driver 8 Ohm 4-Bolt The B&C DCX50 2" exit coaxial compression driver represents a new level of high quality, high performance drive units. B&C's patent pending design utilizes a neodymium magnetic assembly, a coaxially mounted polyester high frequency driver, and midrange driver with a composite diaphragm in a single chassis for ideal time alignment with natural response. The midrange cone's carefully engineered construction offers superior damping properties, which contribute to the DCX50's neutral, non-fatiguing tonal character, even at extreme sound pressure levels.
The DCX50 has an operating range from 400 Hz to 16 kHz and requires an external crossover network (not included). Recommended crossover frequencies for the coaxial elements are 400 Hz (midrange) and 10 kHz (high frequency).
