3M™ heat shrink shrinks to half of its original size (2:1) and offers an outstanding balance of electrical, physical and chemical properties for a wide variety of applications. Rated for 275ºF(135ºC) continuous operation. This tubing is typically used as a shrink-fit electrical insulation over splices and terminations. It is also used for lightweight wire harness covering, wire marking, wire bundling, component packaging and fire resistant covering. The heat shrink tubing is split resistant, mechanically tough, easily marked and resists cold flow. Sold in 4 ft. lengths with header.
All 4-foot lengths of heat shrink tubing is folded for shipping. It may arrive with kinks, but don’t worry. When heat is applied the kinks disappear.
