10" High Excursion Paper Cone Subwoofer Driver 4 Ohm

The W10424A 10" long excursion subwoofer was originally used in the Dayton Audio SUB-1000 and SUB-1000L powered subwoofers, but it is also a great choice for new custom designs. The oversized surround and bumped back plate allow high excursion without damage to the voice coil or cone. With a rigid non-pressed paper cone the W1042A will produce power low frequency output without unwanted high frequency resonances. The higher Q design makes it perfect for a variety of applications. In sealed enclosures or open baffle designs you can expect a natural sound with extremely accurate response. However, for some serious punch and impact a ported design is a great option.
