Timpano Audio TPT-MR10-4 Slim 10" Midrange Speaker 4 Ohm

The TPT-MR10-4 Slim 10" midrange from Timpano Audio can perform well in a professional sound system, but has been designed for use in the high SPL mobile audio market. With a naturally damped paper cone and double roll cloth surround, this driver keeps resonances under control for natural response throughout the sensitive vocal range. The vented pole piece and 2" voice coil are designed to dissipate heat allowing the TPT-MR10-4 Slim to handle 400 watts of continuous power. The large ferrite motor is less susceptible to heat than neodymium to minimize power compression when driven at high output for long periods of time. Requiring just under 3" of depth, this driver is perfect for the low profile installations that are necessary in today's extreme output mobile sound systems.
