Tang Band W6-2253S 6-1/2" Low Profile Subwoofer

Tang Band's W6-2253S 6-1/2" shallow subwoofer uses a unique design and neodymium motor to produce low distortion bass from enclosures less than 2" deep. Tang Band used a one of a kind injection molded cone that allows the motor to be mounted directly behind the cone without sacrificing excursion. With venting under the spider, through the pole piece, and through the voice coil this driver can handle up to 100 watts RMS. Whether it be in a wall, under a couch, or in a car door, the W6-2253S can be installed in situations where most drivers can't.

To improve linearity and pistonic excursion, Tang Band has included two sets of terminals on opposite sides of the frame. When wiring this driver, only use the one wired terminal on either side. The unwired terminal is not functional.
