The W6-2090 6-1/2" full-range is designed for use is conditions that most drivers just can't handle. This driver was built to withstand moisture, dust, cold, and heat (up to 300°F) while still delivering the same hi-fi sound everyone has come to expect from Tang Band.

A number of unique construction methods were used to achieve reliable performance in in such extreme conditions. The rubber surround-to-cone gluing surface is extra wide to ensure that the adhesive will not let go in high heat. High stress connections to the frame (such as the surround, spider, and magnet) have been reinforced with mechanical fasteners. This one-of-a-kind driver can be used where most drivers do not stand a chance.
