Matched by the manufacturer to be within 1.5 dB of each other from 3,000 to 20,000 Hz, Tang Band's RT-2202S aluminum ribbon tweeter pair will deliver everything you need for a true reference quality system. The extremely low moving mass and powerful motor allows this ribbon tweeter to reproduce the finest details while delivering incredibly low levels of distortion. Thanks to the small ribbon design Tang Band has managed to minimize the vertical lobing issues associated with most larger ribbons. In addition, foam surrounds the diaphragm to reduce diffraction from the faceplate keeping response as smooth as possible. The RT-2202S is an excellent choice for your next speaker design.

Specifications: • Power Handling: 8 watts RMS (no crossover)/80 watts max • Impedance: 6 ohms • Frequency range: 2,000-35,000 Hz • SPL: 91 dB 1W/1m • Recommended minimum crossover frequency: 2,500 @ 12dB/octave.

Note: The rear assembly of this tweeter is not airtight, therefore it is recommended that this tweeter be mounted in an isolated enclosure or in an open baffle so the rear of the diaphragm is not exposed to extreme pressure. Also, to prevent damage to the diaphragm, do not input a signal below 1,000 Hz to this tweeter without an adequate crossover network.

Caution: Use care when removing these tweeters from the package. Due to the strength of the magnets, do not allow the tweeters to come into contact with each other. Damage to the tweeters or severely pinched fingers may occur.
