The Shure SLX4/SM58 handheld microphone wireless system is part of the SLX wireless system family. The SLX family is an extremely powerful, professional wireless system that provides bands and installers with high-performing quality as well as great reliability. Features of the SLX family include auto frequency scan to locate a clear channel instantly and Shure's patented Audio Reference Compounding which delivered exceptional audio transmission.

The Shure SLX4 diversity receiver delivers unprecedented ease of use with Automatic Frequency Selection and Automatic Transmitter Setup. The SLX4 will automatically detect clear wireless channels and sync the receiver and transmitter. The receiver features 960 selectable frequencies across the 24 MHz (518-542 MHz). The SLX4 features detachable 1/4 wave antennas, microprocessor-controlled diversity, multi-function backlit LCD, XLR and 1/4" outputs, volume control, frequency power and lockout, and LED monitoring of RF presence and audio level. The unit is enclosed in a rugged 1/2 rack designed and comes with furnished rack hardware and non-slip bumpers for use out of a rack.

Included in the system is the legendary SM58 wireless handheld microphone. An industry standard for year, the SM58 has been trusted by installers, front of house engineers, and bands for decades. The mic easily connects to the receiver for quick set-up while maintain high-performance with confidence of constant connectivity. The mic is powered by 2 AA batteries (included) and features a timed backlit LCD display, frequency and power lockout, and mute functionality.
