SB Acoustics AA-D006-08 5-1/2" Paper Cone Woofer 8 ohm

The new old stock AAC0D006-08 5-1/2" paper cone woofer was manufactured for Aerial Acoustics by SB Acoustics. Designed for impressive low frequency response, smooth midrange, and low distortion, this driver is packed with features and is ideal for use in compact 2-way designs or as a midrange in 3-way systems.

With a lightweight curvilinear treated paper cone, the AA-15NRXC30-06 controls unwanted resonances for natural response with excellent transients. The powerful ferrite motor uses an optimized top plate, back plate, and pole piece for improved transfer of the magnetic field across the voice coil gap keeping Bl linear to ensure amplitude modulation stays at a minimum. Extensive venting through the cast aluminum frame and pole piece allows ample air flow across the 1" voice coil for low power compression even when pushed to its limit. With a flat spider and rubber surround, excursion remains linear for low distortion and high impact bass response.
