The DX25BG uses a large roll surround, silk dome, and Ferrofluid damping combined with a deep resonant chamber to achieve an extremely low Fs of 415 Hz allowing this tweeter to handle the lowest crossover frequencies. For a rigid, non-resonant mount, this tweeter uses a thick aluminum faceplate.
