PRV Audio WG270Ph 1" Phenolic Compression Driver 8 Ohm

Combining the D270Ph-S 1" phenolic exit driver with the WG11-25 compact 45° x 45° exponential horn, the compact WG270Ph horn loaded mid/tweeter from PRV Audio was built to fulfill the demand in the market. The small diameter of the driver provides front mounting without detaching the driver from the horn, making it effortless to install into tight spaces. The high-temperature copper wire used for the voice coil is wound on a Kapton former to withstand high operating temperatures. The old replacement diaphragm RPD250Ph still fits the D270Ph-S driver. The nearly-indestructible phenolic diaphragm can play down to 500 Hz and resists the elements, making it ideal for outdoor use.

Designed to reproduce the all-important vocal range with authority, this mid-range compression driver and horn is an excellent choice for high power public address (PA) Systems small venues and gymnasiums. Car audio SPL enthusiasts use this combo for vocal reinforcement on 3-way systems.
