The 18SW2200V2 18" subwoofer is the newest version of the best selling professional audio loudspeakers in the PRV Audio subwoofer series. Its low frequency response and accuracy surprises listeners, not expecting this much performance from a subwoofer at this price point.

PRV Audio built the 18" 18SW2200V2 to play louder, and lower, by using a thoroughly vented, well executed motor. A 4" voice coil minimizes output-robbing power compression, while also increasing driver longevity and power handling. The use of a dual spider suspension, mated to a cotton M-Roll surround and ribbed cone (all attached with a special resin), allows for extreme linearity during intense use.

A reinforced cast aluminum frame increases rigidity and resists frame flex. Spring-loaded speaker terminals allow for easy speaker wire connection. This professional audio subwoofer is at home in bandpass or ported (bass reflex) speaker cabinets and has been used in live sound reinforcement, high SPL mobile audio systems, and as high output home theater systems.
