PRV Audio 12MR2000X 12" Professional Midrange Driver 8 Ohm

PRV Audio's most powerful midrange woofer, the 12MR2000X offers outstanding durability. A specially-designed spider suspension is assembled with a proprietary resin and combines with the bumped backplate to improve the resistance against failure during intense use. The reinforced surround offers smooth accurate geometry during hard play, while a large 4" voice coil results in very high efficiency while providing smooth and accurate midbass response.

This carefully designed loudspeaker features a demodulation ring which reduces flux modulation, minimizing electromagnetic distortion and a robust cast aluminum basket designed to minimize unwanted reflections and to reduce acoustic distortion.

A coated woven surround offers smooth, precise geometry during hard play, the 4? copper clad aluminum voice coil is wounded on a high temperature glass fiber former for heat resistance and high efficiency, while providing smooth and accurate response. A low-mass yet stiff cone helps provide clean, detailed, high-impact sound reproduction.
