Overview
The NV-LSA40S is a 40 watt local source amplifier is designed to allow the user to turn off whole house audio and switch to a local source like a CD player, iPod, or other MP3 player. The local source amplifier is compatible with all NuVo audio distribution systems.
The NuVo NV-LSA40S can be installed in a single-gang wall plate space and blend into any room. In order to interrupt the whole house audio for a specific zone, you must shut off the music to the room via the Grand Concerto, Simplese, or Essentia keypad control. Plug the included 50 watt power supply and source device (via 3.5 mm plug) into the NV-LSA40S and you're ready to control audio for that room.
When combined with the NV-LSA4-PDS central power source, four NV-LSA40S local amplifiers can be connected to control the sound in up to four rooms. Simply install the NV-LSA40PDS and connect the local source amplifiers via 16 AWG, two-conductor speaker wire.
