With the emphasis today on smaller speaker designs, Morel has re-engineered the Classic Series woofers to minimize depth without sacrificing their sonic characteristics. At only 2.375" deep, MSW 265 8" has been optimized for use in the smallest enclosures. With a shallow profile Damped Polymer Cone this driver will provide smooth response both on and off axis for natural, room filling response. The huge 3" Hexatech™ voice coil has extensive venting in the former, frame, and magnet to ensure high power handling and low power compression. The MSW 265 is the perfect woofer for use in extremely compact 2-way or 3-way speaker designs.
