JBL AWC129-BK 12" 2-Way All Weather Coaxial Loudspeaker 70/100V/8 Ohm - BlackIf you're specifying materials for a large sound reinforcement installation where inclement environmental conditions may play a role, such as a theme park, water park, or fairgrounds, you'll want to spec the AWC129 by JBL as your primary loudspeaker. With the ability to easily integrate with typical low impedance or 70/100V distributed audio systems, the AWC129 is purpose-built to meet and exceed the requirements of such applications. Exceptionally rugged and built to withstand the elements, the AWC129 also offers surprisingly rich and clear sound quality.
A 12" Kevlar-reinforced weather-treated cone woofer is mated to a JBL 1" compression driver with a custom-designed crossover network which delivers consistently natural sounding lows, mids, and highs through the enclosure's extended frequency range. These components are housed within a tough, heavily braced ABS enclosure with a powder coated grill, all of which are specifically made to stand up to Mother Nature's fury with an IP56 (IEC529) rating, as well as Mil Spec 810 for humidity, salt spray, temperature and UV, and ASTM G85 for salt spray.
