Dynavox LY302F 3-1/2" Full-Range Driver

The Dynavox LY302F 3-1/2" full-range driver is an extraordinary value which combines smooth extended response, low distortion, and high efficiency for a driver of its size. This driver will definitely deliver high performance in your next compact or portable speaker design.

The compact whizzer cone with phase plug design increases high frequency response while improving off axis dispersion. To minimize distortion the large ferrite motor design features a copper cap on the pole piece, which acts as a sort of electromagnetic break, increasing cone control and lowering inductance. Finally, holding this driver together is an open cast aluminum frame that provides little resistance to the rear wave, which makes this driver easy to mount, not requiring a rear chamfer in most cases.
