Dayton Audio 18 gauge steel I-core inductors are the most cost effective choice when large inductance values are needed for subwoofer crossovers. Features fully annealed refined copper wire with baked enamel insulation, wrapped around a laminated silicon steel core. Furthermore, all Dayton Audio laminated steel I-core inductors come with slotted mounting holes for easy and secure installation. Each inductor is constructed with a 1-1/4" square x 1-3/4" long plastic bobbin encasing a 1/2" x 3" laminated silicon steel core.

Copper quality/purity: The copper used in all Dayton Audio inductors, both wire and foil based, is a minimum of 99.9% pure, providing 100% conductivity. The oxygen component of the copper is between 0.02% and 0.04%.
