For car audio enthusiasts on a budget, DS18's SLC10S 10" paper cone subwoofer driver is a great way to add some powerful low end to your system without breaking the bank. An oversized treated foam surround is mechanically stitched to the fiberglass reinforced paper cone to ensure that that high stress joint will not fail even under high excursion and stress. To handle up to 220 watts RMS, the SLC10S uses a 2" 4-layer voice that is thoroughly vented through the pole piece and under the spider which dissipates excess heat and minimizes power compression. Push button spring loaded terminals are used to provide a simple and secure wire connection for easy installation. Optimized for use is sealed and infinite baffles designs, this rugged driver is overbuilt to reliably deliver excellent low frequency response for years.
