Capable of high SPL midrange and high frequency response, DS18's PRO-ZT6 6-1/2" professional water-resistant coaxial speaker is the perfect choice to provide music at levels that can cut through the wind and engine noise from motorcycles or ATVs. The foundation of the PRO-ZT6 is a high efficiency 6-1/2" treated paper cone midrange that has a powerful motor with a non-resonant diaphragm. With a 1-1/2" voice coil on a Kapton former this driver can handle up to 225 watts RMS (with recommended crossover of 120 Hz) for incredible output capability. The high frequencies are handled by a coaxially mounted 1" aluminum bullet tweeter that can put the sound right where you want it thanks to its controlled dispersion. For an extra level of protection, a rugged metal mesh grill is included to keep foreign objects away from any fragile parts. All of this makes the unique PRO-ZT6 an excellent choice when you need high SPL but have limited installation space.
