Overview
PRO-X12MBASS 12" professional midbass driver from DS18 is capable of providing the chest pounding midbass response that is needed to keep up with high power SPL systems. Using a naturally damped paper cone and foam surround, this driver has minimal resonance at high frequencies for an easy transition to your midrange. The cone is driven by a large 2-1/2" diameter voice coil wound on a Kapton former which keeps the cone linear with low distortion, even when driven to high excursion. A massive vented ferrite motor gives the PRO-X12MBASS high efficiency and dissipates excess heat to lower power compression after long listening sessions.
