Crown CDi2x300 DriveCore 2 x 300W Install Power Amplifier 70V / 100V
The CDi DriveCore Series is an evolution in amplification, providing an impressive mix of high-performance; rich feature set, and competitive cost. Using technology derived from our flagship Installed Sound amplifier (Crown DriveCore Install series), the CDi DriveCore 2x300 offers streamlined functionality to work in almost any small/medium sized installation such as restaurants, retail stores, and more. Designed for ease-of-use in a variety of applications, the 2x300 is a 2-channel amp that includes network control/monitoring, high-level DSP, front-panel interface, and support for driving up to 100 Vrms speaker loads without requiring a transformer. The entire CDi DriveCore line comes pre-loaded with JBL speaker tunings to help make installations quicker and easier.
DCi Series amplifiers are designed, engineered and manufactured to the industry’s highest quality standards, and provide system integrators with the advanced features and flexibility required for challenging 21st century installed sound applications. Versatile, compact and highly energy-efficient, DCi Series amplifiers continue the unbroken Crown tradition of leadership in professional and commercial power amplifier technology.
DriveCore Technology
Crown’s proprietary DriveCore technology eliminates hundreds of components within each amplifier, reducing the variability of component values, increasing reliability, resulting in incredible audio fidelity from an efficient design.
Network Control and Monitoring
Through Harman’s HiQnet Audio Architect software, the CDi DriveCore can be controlled, configured, and monitored through standard TCP/IQ network.
Onboard DSP
On-board Digital Signal Processor in each amplifier allows for custom configuration featuring input routing, input delay of up to 1000 ms, 8-band parametric EQ, crossover, 8-band parametric EQ, output delay of up to 1000 ms, and LevelMAX limiter. Completely configure the amp using an intuitive front-panel interface.
True Rack Diversity
Power points of 300W all in a 2 Rack Unit form factor. More channels in one box allow smaller infrastructure rooms that can reduce operational costs while giving you the utmost in installation flexibility.
Direct Drive Constant Voltage
Save money by using smaller gauge wiring to drive the speakers using either 70 Vrms or 100 Vrms. With no need for a step-up transformer at the output, the DCi produces higher audio quality much more efficiently.
Channel Independent Hi-Z/Low Z Selection
Drive either one or two speakers in low-Z mode, or literally hundreds of speakers in high-Z mode (70 Vrms or100 Vrms). This means better design flexibility since DCi powers all loads on a channel-by-channel basis.
Bridgeable Channel Pairs
Unlike amps from other manufacturers, the DCi Series channels are bridgeable – even in 100 Vrms mode – which means even more adaptability for higher power applications such as subwoofers.
Remote On/Off Interface
Save power by integrating the amplifier into a control system so you can easily turn it on and off.
Efficient Cooling Design
Highly efficient internal cooling fans provide airflow to the most heat-generating parts. Incorporating the fans into the amplifier brick design maximizes cooling while minimizing wasted energy and noise.
Advanced Power Factor Correction Universal Power Supply
The most advanced power supply in an installation amplifier delivers power more efficiently in almost any condition than anyone else, resulting in less power dissipated and less heat in your racks.
GPIO/AUX Port
Recall presets, mute channels, monitor faults, power on/off the amp, and more through a combines GPIO/AUX port.

Constant Voltage (70-Volt) Audio Systems
Audio distribution systems, especially those commonly used in department stores, warehouses, restaurants, etc., require that many loudspeakers be driven from a single audio amplifier over long runs of speaker wire. The "constant voltage" or "high impedance distribution" audio systems can be complex to understand at first, however, provides many advantages. Learn how to design your own 70-volt or 25-volt loudspeaker system.
