The 18DS100-8 18" professional subwoofer driver from B&C Speakers uses a 4" diameter x 37 mm long voice coil to deliver remarkable excursion capability with extremely high power handling. The strong neodymium motor assembly includes a large aluminum shorting ring for low distortion and extensive venting keeps power compression to a minimum. This driver is a significant step forward in high output subwoofer drivers from B&C.

With a 37 mm long 4" diameter 4-laver voice coil, the 18DS100-8 18" professional high output subwoofer driver from B&C Speakers is a significant step forward from similar 18" drivers. The high excursion capability, excellent efficiency, and incredible power handling gives this driver fantastic output capability and low frequency extension. Driving the voice coil is a powerful neodymium motor with extensive venting through the pole piece, frame, and magnetic gap keeping everything cool for low power compression and extreme power handling. An aluminum shorting ring helps lower inductance and keep distortion under control to produce clean low frequency output. The 18SD100-8 uses dual silicon spiders and a triple roll surround to keep the linear throughout the limits of excursion. The rigid paper cone has a waterproof coating on both sides of the cone to ensure the 18DS100-8 delivers high performance output even when installed in less than optimal locations. The 18DS100-8 continues B&C tradition for building high performance drivers that provide amazing performance and reliability. The 8 ohm impedance and low weight makes this driver perfect for use in dual 18" subwoofer designs.
