For compact high output point source speaker designs, the 10CXN64 10" professional coaxial driver from B&C Speakers is an excellent choice. This coaxial uses a powerful neodymium magnet to power both the woofer and high frequency compression driver to deliver high efficiency and low distortion while minimizing size and weight. With 5.5 mm xmax the woofer has significant displacement capability for some serious impact and low frequency dynamics. Both the woofer and titanium compression driver use 2-1/2" voice coils for great power handling and high SPL. Thanks to a waterproof treated paper cone, this coaxial driver is even suitable of use in harsh conditions. For high output applications where fidelity at maximum SPL is the primary concern, consider the 10CXN64 10" for ultra compact designs.
