With an un-treated black paper cone, this 3" full-range speaker is a great choice for the electronic hobbyist or tinkerer. A coated paper surround, 1/2" voice coil on paper former and oversize spider make for a very smoot response from 180 - 10,000 Hz, while the neodymium magnet and extremely low moving mass help boost sensitivity. Its 16 ohm impedance means it can be used in multiples for arrays and with numerous wiring configurations.
