4" Treated Paper Cone Woofer 16 Ohm

Providing smooth response up to 8,000 Hz and amazing off axis response this 16 ohm 4" woofer is an excellent choice for line arrays, portable speaker, and nearfield designs. With a naturally damped treated paper cone and cloth surround, this driver delivers ±3 dB from 100 Hz up to 5,000 Hz even at 60° off axis for an extremely easy transition to almost any tweeter. The large flat spider ensures that the cone remains linear at high excursion keeping distortion and compression at a minimum. In addition, for even lower distortion, the motor assembly uses a raised pole piece to create a more symmetrical magnetic field around the voice coil. This 4" woofer is perfect for any compact 2-way speaker design.
