This one fuse block enables you to protect 12 electronic DC devices with one power source. Each output handles up to a 30A fuse, but total output for the block must be less than 100A. The fuse block comes with a fuse for each terminal from 5A to 20A. The fuse must match closely to the current draw of your electronic device without exceeding the amperage of the fuse. Each fuse terminal has a red LED light that turns on when a fuse blows. A ground wire must be hooked up to the main ground terminal for the LEDs to light up when the fuse is blown. The extra shorted together ground terminals are there for convenience only and are not tied to any positive terminals. This fuse block protects DC lights, motors, appliances, chargers, audio equipment, and other electronic equipment as long as they all use the same DC voltage.
The fuse block's total amperage rating is 100A @ 12VDC. This makes it perfect for on/off road vehicle applications. Nickel plated copper terminals and stainless steel hardware make this fuse block durable enough for boats, ATVs, and other off road vehicles. The incoming M5 stainless steel studs handle 4 to 6 gauge wire and the 12 stainless steel M3.5 output screws handle 12 to 16 gauge wire. Each stud has a washer and lock washer to prevent loose connections under heavy vibrating conditions. Wrap the wire around the studs, or use fork/ring terminals for quick installation. After all the wires are secure, insert the fuses and snap the protective cover on and you're ready to supply power to the fuse block.
