ButtKicker BK-mini-LFE Mini Low Frequency Effect Transducer Bass Shaker

ButtKicker® brand BK-mini-LFE mini LFE low frequency effect audio transducers are based on the larger BK-LFE tactile transducers that have received with rave reviews around the world since they were introduced in late 1999. Where the large BK-LFE tactile transducer is meant for adding the 4th dimension of sound to a group of chairs, the BK-mini-LFE is designed as a single seat transducer that requires minimal power.

ButtKicker Bass Shakers are built using a revolutionary, patented magnetically suspended piston design. Not only does this design create more accurate low frequency effects (drummers swear by them for monitoring), it also lasts longer! The magnetically suspended piston design pushes the resonant frequency of each ButtKicker transducer down to an ultra-low 9 Hz, allowing for a truly infrasonic, and usable, frequency range of 10 to 350 Hz! While other transducers produce their peak output at 60 to 80 Hz, ButtKickers are still going strong up to three octaves lower.

Experience the 4th dimension of sound with realistic tactile and sound effects such as earthquakes, thunderstorms, rocket launches, tidal waves, explosions, tornadoes, volcanoes, dinosaurs,  and high quality musical bass playback that you never knew existed on your music, movies, and video games--all without disturbing others in the same room!

Each ButtKicker transducer piston is built using large gauge coil wire, and is surrounded by a large metal housing that acts as a heatsink. Should the coil wire exceed 150°F (75°C), an internal thermal switch disconnects the ButtKicker from the amplifier for cooling. This allows for years of maintenance-free use! Five-way binding posts offer nearly endless amplifier connection options, and all ButtKicker transducers are proudly made in the U.S.A.

Note: ButtKicker transducers are able to operate at any angle. For the best possible output, with the lowest possible distortion, it is recommended that ButtKicker Bass Shaker transducers be mounted in their vertical, upright position.

ButtKicker BK-mini-LFE Mini Low Frequency Effect Transducer Bass Shaker
ButtKicker BK-mini-LFE Mini Low Frequency Effect Transducer Bass Shaker is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth itI bought a pair of these Mini LFE Buttkickers and am not impressed. I bought the BK200 amp to go with them. I already had 4 Aura's installed and wanted to see if I could get an extra low bass response. What I got was a bottoming out experience that was intolerable. Happened all the time. I ended up switching out the BK amp and putting in the 250 watt plate amp I got from Parts-express so I could drop the gain and the volume manually. It helped but for that matter I should just sell them. Do they go lower? At times, yes. Do the Auras do the job? YES. If they didn't bottom out they might be a decent item but I really am unimpressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool effect. Each unit is good for single seat applications. Adds a cool effect when watchingmovies. Seems to work best at lower amp/volume settings, so it is not trying tooverpower the shaking movement.

How do I wire 1 Buttkicker Mini LFE to Recliner without purchasing amp?

Note: Pioneer 1522 9:2 Surround 170 Watt AVR2 Polk PSW505 Subs connected alreadyCan I wire to Subwoofer Out?
Asked by: Sublove
Unfortunately you can't. A separate amp is required for transducers like this regardless of brand.

I have a pair of Aura pros and one (1) buttkicker mini. Can I simultaneously use both systems on my 3 seat couch? I have the Dayton 100W amp .

If so, What would be the wiring diagram for all 3 shakers? Thank you
Asked by: Rondon
The only way to safely wire three of these together would be in series which would limit the amount of output power the amp will have. Your best bet especially with two different types of shakers would be to have a separate amp on the Auras and the Buttkicker.

2 buttkicker lfe mini's with spa250

I'm looking at purchasing 2 buttkicker minis and powering them with the Dayton SPA250 plate amp, the specs for the amp seem to match with the buttkickers.Am i correct will this SPA250 amp be suited to 2 buttkicker minis? are there any other amps that i should consider?
Asked by: mark27
The SPA250 will work well with two of those as long as they are wired in series for an 8 ohm load.
