Behringer HPS3000 High Performance Studio Headphones is rated 3.6667 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not greatNo bass, no high end. Sound the same as the cheap speakers in my laptop or in the low end audio products I've designed. Cheapo Sennheiser HD 220, 210, etc are far better at both audio spectrum ends and about the same price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sounds Great but a little fragile.I use these for live recording monitoring and home editing. They have a great neutral sound and are fully enclosed and seal well. The only downside is they are a bit fragile. I have had two break off at the headband joints. But they are cheap so I'm here to order another one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good sound, high isolation, Great price.I needed some headphones for my PA board over at Church. Needed to have high isolation and sound fairly neutral. Saw these on the shelf and decided to give them a try. Really pretty good! The cable is a bit flimsy, and for long term strength I have no clue. But I was impressed enough to buy two more pair; one for my video editing station and one for the camera. And being inexpensive, I don't have to worry about them growing legs and walking away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wide Range IndeedI got two of these for monitoring mixers for recording and live sound. I tested them initially with a few choice CDs and found the range to be as advertised -- very wide, both frequency and dynamics. Unlike other work phones I've been using these reproduced the highs and lows on par with good speakers. What comes out of these sounds like what comes out of my PA, making them better than I'd expected for my purposes. As noted, the 3mm to 1/4" adapter screws on, handy but a potential problem if you're not expecting it. Also, an extension cable is a good idea:

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long term 2nd reviewI've had these for some time now and they sounded even better after fully breaking in. Still not perfect, but for $21, really good.I discovered a pretty bad design flaw with these and wanted to share a warning because I've ruined my set.If you screw the 1/4 adapter on the end, be sure not to make it tight at all. It holds on snugly even with a normal hand tightening.I tried to remove my adapter the other day and it turned out that I was turning the internal bits under the black rubber plastic. By the time I realized what had happened, it was too late. I had twisted the internal wires and I've shorted out / ruined my pair. I had to use vise grips to hold the base to remove the adapter. After messing around with it, I noticed that it holds a strong grip with very little tightening force. So, if you think you will want to change the adapter out more then once, be sure to use a very light hand tighten on the screw on style adapter.
